We're most effective when we're part of the legal team early. Reviewing pleadings, helping shape discovery requests, and identifying the financial documents that actually move the case lets us do meaningful work before any motion is filed. By the time depositions start, we know the records as well as opposing counsel does.
From Discovery Through Trial
Engagements may stay strictly consulting — preparing examination questions, summarizing produced documents, modeling settlement scenarios — or shift to a testifying expert role at trial. We can operate in either capacity, and we make the boundary clear at engagement so privilege and disclosure are handled correctly.
